OneGeology is an international initiative of the geological surveys of the world. OneGeology's aim is to create dynamic digital geological map data for the world. GNS was the New Zealand participant.This is an interactive mapping website that enables the user to zoom in to any location in the world including New Zealand. There are different layers that can be added to this map including: lithology, bedrock and superficial geology, lithostratigraphy, geological units and geological age. Maps can be saved and/or printed.
